A Quiet Day - ‘The Daily Prayer Rosary’
27th February 2012 | 10:00am – 16:00pm
The Revd Clay Roundtree, author of The Daily Prayer Rosary published by Canterbury Press, offers a new way of praying the rosary using the psalms and Biblical songs of the Bible. Archbishop John Sentamu describes the materials from the book as "...an ancient means of prayer married with scripture and liturgy to create a new and inspiring way of communing with the Blessed and Glorious Trinity. I commend it to you and pray that you may find your prayer life renewed." The prayer method is introduced by Clay in the course of the Quiet Day, and he will provide all the materials needed for the day. The meditations do not employ the popular 'Hail Mary' prayer as known in the Roman Catholic tradition, but instead uses verses from the Bible and familiar prayers to Anglicans.
The cost of the Quiet Day is: £25.00 which includes Morning Coffee,a Buffet Lunch and Afternoon Tea
