Going on Retreat
Wydale Hall is a great place to come for quiet contemplation, retreat or study. There is an extensive theological library, and a dedicated chapel and designated prayer area has been created with a new ash altar and cross. Our guests are free to enjoy our extensive grounds which offer plenty space to relax including a prayer labyrinth and a quiet garden.
Retreats are a modern answer to modern living. Going on a retreat means taking time away from your ordinary life and situation. It is a special time to give yourself some peace and calm. You might be stepping away from a hectic lifestyle full of being too busy, or taking a break away from the responsibilities of children or caring for someone. A retreat can be helpful if you want some quiet and to be left alone for a day or two. You may just want some tranquility in which to consider where you are in life.
Wydale Hall is a member of the Retreats Association.
