How do we live a life of faith in the midst of adversity? All of us will face hardships along the way, and will at times identify all too closely with the cry of Jesus on the cross: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Recognizing that there are no easy answers, we will use the experiences of Job and his friends as the starting point for our conversations, as well as responding through the Psalms, in the hope that we too might know God with us even in the worst of times.
