Many people come to Wydale on invividual retreats throughout the year; however, it is rare that we can have the house in silence. Over recent years we have established a pattern of dedicating space in our programme in the winter and in the summer where individuals can come, receive guidance from an experienced spiritual director and meet with God in the stillness. Although we can’t guarantee complete silence across the site (the gardens may be used by others and the birds can be quite chatty) this retreat offers the opportunity to focus on God without the need to interect with other retreatants.
